INFLATABLE PIPE PLUGS / FLOW STOPPERS
The flow stopper is an inflatable plug to close off, in a quick and simple way, a range of pipe diameters and block the flow. The plugs are built with high quality armide (kevlar) reinforced layers of neoprene rubber.
In this way we can guarantee a safety factor of 3 on the maximum allowable working pressure.
The plugs (Test and Bypass version) are suitable for air and water tests according to Euronorm
NEN-EN 1610: Construction and testing of drains and sewers.

Before delivery each OLS, Flex-ODS and ODS is tested on 1,5 times the max. working pressure In the largest pipediameter of that type.
MEGAPLUG ®
The MEGAPLUG ® is a special inflatable plug for pipe diameters larger than 1 meter. Because of the unique construction, a large range of pipe diameters can be closed off, with a MEGAPLUG ® which can still easily be handled and brought into the pipeline through the manhole. The plugs are build from high-quality aramid/kevlar cord reinforced rubber. The Test and Bypass version are suitable for air and water tests according to Euronorm NEN-EN 1610: Construction and testing of drains and sewers.
Type: ODS Test and By-pass Plug, suitable for testing with air and water.
- Above mentioned values are estimates in clean round concrete pipes.
- Maximum backpressure for air-testing: 200 mbar in all pipe diameters.
All plugs are standard supplied with a safety valve at the air inlet opening at the front side.
On request the plugs can be delivered in a special chemical resistant nitril rubber.
Before delivery each Megaplug is tested at maximum working pressure in the largest pipe diameter for the type.
